Game 3 of the NLDS between the San Diego Padres and the Houston Astros was a good low scoring affair today. The Astros scored in the bottom of the 1st on a Willie Taveras single, 2 stolen bases and an RBI groundout by Lance Berkman. Houston added an unearned run in the 5th and another in the 7th off a pinch-hit single from Mike Lamb. San Diego scored a run in the 6th with a Dave Roberts triple and an Adrian Gonzalez single. Both starters went into the 6th inning with Andy Pettitte getting the Win for Houston and Brad Lidge picked up his 2nd Save. David Wells took the Loss for San Diego. Houston now holds a 2-1 Series edge.
