With the Minnesota Twins facing elimination against the New York Yankees in Game 4 of their ALDS, the Twins started ace Johan Santana tonight on 3 days rest. The decision paid off as Santana went 7 2/3 innings and Minnesota won 9-3. The Twins scored a run in the 1st and 4 in the 3rd to break the game open. The series will now shift back to NY for a deciding Game 5.
