2006 AL Central Standings

 September 18, 2006

The AL Central pennant race is red hot with 13 games left in the regular season. My Detroit Tigers have won 5 in a row and are in Chicago for a huge 3 game series against the White Sox. The 2 teams are 8-8 against each other. The Minnesota Twins are in 1st place in the Central Division with Chicago 1 GB and Detroit 2 GB. In the Wild Card race, where 1 team will make the playoffs, Chicago is 1 game up on Detroit.
