Third baseman Pedro Feliz blasted 3 homeruns and had 5 RBI as the San
Francisco Giants staged a dramatic comeback over the Houston Astros by a
score of 6 to 3 at Minute Maid Field.
San Francisco had the winning rally in the 9th inning when they tallied 4 runs
on 4 hits. The highlight belonged to Feliz who silenced the crowd when he
belted a three-run homer. Both teams finished the game with 8 hits.
Kevin Correia(1-2) went 1 and 2/3 innings allowing no runs for the victory.
Jeremy Accardo recorded his 1st save. Brad Lidge(1-2) was hit with the loss
in relief.
Phil arner was understandably not very talkative after his team's tough loss.
He quickly showered and changed and when asked about the game had a terse,
yet polite response, 'Hey fellows, that game was a heart-breaker to lose.
Our guys gave it their all and played well - fate just wasn't smilin' on us
tonight'
