2006 MLB Playoffs, NLCS Game 3: Hou. @ LA

  After giving up a 2nd inning homerun to J. D. Drew, Houston starter Roy Oswalt shut the door on the LA Dodgers and got the Win in the Astros 4-1 victory. Houston led 2-1 in the 7th inning when Adam Everett hit a 2-run homer to give Oswalt and the Astros a little more breathing room. Oswalt went 8 innings allowing 1 run, 6 hits, 0 walks and striking out 7. Brad Lidge pitched a perfect 9th for the Save. Brad Penny took the loss for LA. Houston leads in the ALCS 2-1 now.

innings reducing his ERA from 3.75 to 2.70.  Oswalt was helped out by Brad
Lidge who pitched a perfect ninth and recorded his 4th save.  
 
Brad Penny(0-1) absorbed the loss.  He gave up 4 runs and 7 hits in 6 and 1/3 

innings.
