2006 NL Game Story: Phil. @ Atl.

Though the Philadelphia Phillies lost to the Atlanta Braves 5-2 tonight, 1st baseman
Ryan Howard connected on his league leading 60th homer of the season in the 1st inning. He also upped his league leading RBI total to 156 with the blast.

First baseman Adam Laroche homered and had 3 RBI as the Atlanta Braves beat
the Philadelphia Phillies by a score of 5 to 2.
 
Atlanta scored all of the necessary runs in the 6th inning as they scored 5
runs on 5 base hits.  The key offensive moment was provided by Laroche who
thrilled the crowd when he lost the ball over the fence for three runs.  Both
teams finished the game with 8 hits. The Phillies Ryan Howard blasted his 60th
homerun of the season in a losing effort in the 1st inning. 
Tim Hudson(8-14) picked up the victory, allowing 2 runs in 6 innings. Hudson
got help from Bob Wickman who was credited with his 12th save.  Jon
Lieber(8-10) was charged with the loss.
